Introduced in 2001, the .NAME universal domain name extension is the sole TLD supposed to be for personal sites only. These domains can be personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other titles people are famous by. At the beginning, just third-level registrations were allowed, so if you desired to buy john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already registered third-level names remained active.

You will have the chance to change the WHOIS information, to park your domain, to create Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an active domain to our firm if you receive its EPP transfer key from the current domain provider and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been completed.
