A: If your present web hosting provider can no longer fulfill the requirements of your website, or when you experience regular network downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the technical support team to respond back to you, it may be smart to switch your provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your web sites along with your databases from your present provider to your future provider. At konceptHOSTING, we know that this can often be difficult & time–consuming. Because of this, we’ll perform all that for you for free!Our highly professional technical team members will move your website content from your current hosting provider to us. Our technicians have got broad experience migrating websites and are able to handle anything – from an average WordPress weblog or Joomla^™ CMS–powered web site, to an extremely complex, custom–built web app.

A: There are a lot of aspects to take into consideration – the overall number of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the current workload of our website migration professionals, etc. Having said that, we do our best to implement all website migrations within a 48–hour period. Smaller websites are migrated much faster – typically within 24 hours.

A: We will need the login details for your old web hosting provider’s Control Panel and the site’s name (domain name).

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share the same details you have given to your present hosting provider. We also have a very strict Privacy Policy, which describes how personal information is used.

A: While we move your site, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your old hosting provider. When the migration is complete, we’ll make certain that everything is functioning properly and that the integrity of your content is not compromised before notifying you that the migration is over. Then we’ll explain to you how to transfer the domain to your web hosting account with us and how to edit your DNS settings.

A: While we transfer your web content, your hosting provider will not be aware of the migration at all. We will never contact them in any way.

A: Yeah. We support all common Linux–based web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–driven web hosting platforms, since we don’t provide Windows hosting services ourselves.Furthermore, we do not support proprietary site building and management tools such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
